  • As part of a 2012 renovation of the River City lobby, our design team produced an exhibition about its designer, the Chicago architect and visionary Bertrand Goldberg.

The building itself is a compact urban complex that hugs the edge of the Chicago River with smooth curves that set it apart from the surrounding buildings and street grid. Reflecting that design language, the exhibit snakes through the lobby with sinuous cases that incorporate the materials and sketches Goldberg produced. This permanent exhibit also include a narrative placing this building in context with its urban setting and with Goldberg’s other work.

Space Haus was responsible for the design, construction and installation of this exhibition.
